Or just want to do something interesting and get some free snacks while you're between classes? Then this is the event to attend.   Please join us in welcoming back Christian Golding, who hosted our previous Investor Series events with great success. Christian is a qualified Financial Adviser and is the Managing Director & Strategic Wealth Adviser of our proud sponsor Pitcher Partners WA. Accompanying him is Jackson Riley, also from Pitcher Parters.   What you will need for this event is a pen and paper or your laptop to write down notes or questions to help you learn more about investing.

When: - Friday 8th November. Where: Varsity Cannington - 1525 Albany Hwy, Beckenham WA 6107: - Drinks - Bowling - Arcade - Networking with fellow club members and finance students. Why: Come join us for our End of Semester Sundowner at Varsity Cannington for food and drinks, and fun activities, including bowling and an arcade! We have asked for our allocated tables to be near the bowling lanes so you don't have to decide between bowling and socialising :) It will be a great way to meet new people or build better connections with the ones you already have, as well as just letting your hair down after a long semester. When you arrive you'll be given a wrist band (so no party poopers can ruin our fun) and TWO drinks tokens worth $15 each.   This event is primarily for club members, if you wish to bring a plus one, please contact the FFPC team at ffpcurtin@gmail.com to ensure you can reserve a ticket, as tickets are limited.

You're Invited to our second investing workshop of the semester! A recap of the last investing workshop, we went over why you should invest and how to invest from our speaker from Capital Partners. This second investing workshop Christian Golding, from Pitcher Partners will teach our members further information such as:  - Asset Classes - Means of Exposure -ETF,MF and Direct -Risk Profiles -Returns- Historical/Current -Active v Passive -Style Bias of Managed Funds If this sounds interesting to you this workshop will be held on campus in 400.305 on the 24th of April 12 to 1pm. We will organise lunch for our members. Feel free to invite your friends or even make new friends as you learn more about investing! Where: 400.305 (Curtin University) when: 12pm- 1pm  Tickets are $5 for members, $10 for non-members.
